Throughout 2022, one of the most commons themes at UBC was student activism — particularly in solidarity with Iranians after the murder of Mahsa Amini in September. UBC community members gathered again and again to pay their respects to the victims of the Morality Police and demand justice from the Iranian government. Demonstrators made flyers, chanted songs and wrote messages to the fallen.
