On March 12, 2022 the UBC women’s hockey team scored a lone goal against the Saskatchewan Huskies, earning them the title of Canada West champions. Cheers erupted throughout the arena as the players dropped their helmets and hockey sticks where they stood and rushed to embrace each other.
